Au programme ce samedi, un petit sommet de Suisse centrale en ski de randonnée. Le Club Alpin Français (CAF) de Mulhouse organisait une journée sécurité.
On the agenda this Saturday is a ski tour up to a small summit in central Switzerland. The Mulhouse's French Alpin Club (CAF) was organizing a safety training day. ________________________________
Le Buochserhorn (1807 m) et son voisin le Stanserhorn gardent l'entrée de l'Engelbergertal, au sud du lac des Quatre-Cantons. On démarre par un télécabine vers Niederrickenbach (1150 m), de là on suit grosso modo le sentier d'été.
The Buochserhorn (1807 m) and its neigbhour the Stanserhorn guard the entrance of the Engelbergertal, south of the Lake Lucerne. We started with a gondola up to Niederrickenbach (1150 m). From there we basically followed the summer trail.
Je n'ai pas osé prendre le reflex, donc les photos sont prises avec le smartphone... Arrivé à Niederrickenbach, la journée s'annonce sympathique.

On commence à monter tranquillement. Une bonne couche poudreuse, on va se régaler.

Petite pause une fois passés coté soleil. Beau non ? La vallée d'Engelberg s'étends en bas.
Quick break once on the sunny side. Nice isn't it ? The Engelberg valley lies down there.
Raffaele et Claude nous parlent de la neige et de ses dangers.
Raffaele and Claude gave us a speech about the snow and its dangers.
C'est reparti. Ça sent bon l'air pur.
Resuming climb. The air is pure, feels good.
Le sommet n'est plus très loin.
The summit isn't far away.
La vue se dégage sur le lac des Quatre-Cantons. On fond, vers l'est, Schwiz et les Mythens.
We get nice views over the Lake Lucerne. Away, to the east, is Schwiz and the Mythens.
Arrivé au sommet. Derrière, au sud, le joli Brisen (2413 m).
Made it to the summit. Behind, looking south, the nice Brisen (2413 m).
Coté ouest, mon bon vieux Pilatus.
Looking west, my good old Pilatus.
Au nord, le non moins classique Rigi et un bout de la presque-île du Bürgenstock.
To the north, the also classic Rigi and a piece of the Bürgenstock peninsula.
Après une petite descente coté ouest, on s'arrête pour quelques exercices. Raffaele planque des Arva dans la neige que l'on devra retrouver avec notre propre Arva. Sympa, enfin tant que ça reste de l’entraînement...
After a short downhill on the west side, we stopped for a few exercices. Raffaele is hiding some Arva under the snow. We'll have to search and find them with our own Arva. Quite fun, as long as it's a training...
