Il fait beau ! 2 jours de suite !! Me voila donc parti pour l'Oberland bernois pour une boucle de 2 jours. De Lenk à Lauenen puis de Lauenen à Rinderberg, au dessus de Zweisimmen. Voici le récit du premier jour.
The sun shines ! And two days in a row !! So I went hiking in the Bernese Oberland for 2 days. From Lenk to Lauenen and from Lauenen to Rinderberg, above Zweisimmen. This is the story of the first day.Route
Le site wanderland.ch marche mal ce soir, je n'ai pas les chiffres exactes, mais de mémoire ça donne 1450 m de montée, 1250 de descente, environ 25 km et 8 heures de randonnée en temps standard. De Lenk, suivre Iffigenalp puis Lauenen.
Wanderland.ch has issues tonight so I don't have the figures. As far as I remember, it's around 1450 meters up, 1250 down, nearly 25 km and 8 hours hiking, standard time. From Lenk follow Iffigenalp and then Lauenen.

Dès la sortie de Lenk, la vue est déjà bien sympathique. Au sud la très imposante Wildstrubel (3244 m) se reflète dans le petit mais photogénique Lenkersee. Belle vallée en U cette Obersimmental, non ?. Sur la gauche, le téléphérique monte à Metsch (partie du domaine skiable d'Adelboden/Lenk).
Just after leaving Lenk, the view is already quite nice. Looking south, the tiny yet photogenic Lenkersee reflects the massive Wildstrubel (3244 m). Nice U shaped valley this Obersimmental isn't it ? To the left, the gondola goes up to Mestch (part of the ski domain of Adelboden/Lenk).

Après un peu de montée j'arrive à Iffigfall, belle chute d'eau. Ecoutez !
After a bit of climbing, I can see the Iffigfall, nice waterfall. Listen to it !
Un petit hors-piste pour faire la photo en haut de la chute d'eau. On regarde où on met les pieds dans ces cas là.

Encore un peu de montée et j'arriver à Iffigenalp (1580 m). Sympa l'atmosphère ici. Le téléphérique emmène à la Wildstrubelhütte, de là les sentiers emmènent vers Plaine-Morte et Crans-Montana, dans le Valais. La grosse montagne à gauche c'est le Mittaghorn (2686 m).
Up and up and made it to Iffigenalp (1580 m). Nice atmosphere here. The Gondola goes to the Wildstrubelhütte, from there you can hike to Plaine-Morte and Crans-Montana in the Valais. The peak to the left is the Mittaghorn.
Après un pique-nique mérité à Iffigenalp, je continue ma montée vers l'Iffigsee, juste derrière le col au fond, vers l'ouest.
After a well disserved lunch at Iffigenalp, I keep going up towards the Iffigsee, right behind the pass on the background.

Et me voici à l'Iffigsee. Superbe non ? Peut-être pas le plus beau que j'ai croisé en Suisse mais surement dans le trio de tête ! Le col sur la gauche amène à la Wildhornhütte, départ de la voie normale du très attirant Wildhorn.
And here's the Iffigsee. Beautiful isn't it ? Maybe not the most beautiful I've seen in Switzerland but close to ! The pass to the left side goes up to the Wildhornhütte, start of the climb to the very attractive Wildhorn.

Il y a de la grosse montagne dans le coin, on est entre Berne et Valais... Paradis sur terre en tout cas.
Big mountains over there, we're between Bern and Valais. What a paradis...
Après une dernière montée j'arrive au col, sans nom, à 2320 m. Un peu de neige mais rien de bien méchant. J'ai vu pire cette année :-).
One last climb and I'm at a no-name pass (2320 m). Some snow, but nothing really bad. I've seen worse this season :-).
Après une bonne heure de descente, le vert revient. Très joli alpage à nouveau.
One hour down and green is back. Another very nice pasture.
Cette randonnée m'a apporté une diversité de décors assez incroyable. Entre les deux montagnes, la vallée qui monte à la Geltenhütte.
This hike brought a lot of diversity, scenary wise. Between these two mountain, a valley takes you up to the Geltenhütte.
Presque arrivé au Lauenensee. Lauenen est à 1 heure plus bas dans la vallée.
Almost at the Lauenensee. Lauenen is still an hour away, further down the valley.
Une fois passé le lac, dernier coup d'oeil. Comme tout porte un nom ici, je vous donne celui de la grosse chute d'eau : la Tungelschultz !

Conclusion
Randonnée franchement longue mais si vous connaissez un autre moyen de voir du pays... Une superbe journée clairement. Ca m'a donné des d'idées en plus :-). On n'est jamais déçu avec l'Oberland ! Merci la Suisse. Vivement la semaine prochaine !
