Wildhornhütte

Ce week-end, Raffaele organisait une sortie en ski de randonnée avec le Club Alpin du coté du Wildhorn, dans l'ouest de l'Oberland bernois Le mini raid de 3 jours comprenait une montée au refuge Wildhornhütte, l'ascension du Wildhorn et traverse vers la Wildstrubelhütte et enfin l'ascension du Wildstrubel et retour sur Lenk. Atteint d'une belle crève, je n'ai pu faire que la moitié de ce beau programme.

This week-end, Raffaele organized a ski tour with the Club Alpin around the Wildhorn, in western Bernese Oberland. This 3 days tour included a climb to the Wildhorn hut, a climb to Wildhorn and traverse to Wildstrubel hut and finally a climb to Wildstrubel, down to Lenk. I had a nasty cold so I could only do half of this great agenda.

Une voiture garée au départ (Färische) et une à l'arrivée (Hasenmeid). On a à peu près suivi les sentiers de randonnée d'été. Aucune difficulté technique. Environ 6 heures sans se presser.

We parked a car at the start (Färische) and another at the end (Hasenmeid) of the raid. We basically followed the summer trails. No technical difficulties Around 6 hours, going slowly.





Le temps est radieux, la journée s'annonce magnifique. Suréquipés et motivés, on décolle !

Weather is radiant, the day is going to be magnificent. Fully equiped and motivated, up we go !

Le charme de la randonnée à ski. La forêt, la neige vierge, les traces de la faune et ce sentiment de liberté.

The charm of ski touring. Forest, unsullied snow, animals tracks and this feeling of freedom.

C'est un joli coin, à visiter l'été aussi. Derrière la crête boisée (Hoberg), c'est Iffigenalp. Au fond, c'est le Mittaghore (2686 m).

It's a nice spot, I recommend visits during summer. Behind this wooded ridge (Hoberg) is Iffigenalp. On the background, the Mittaghore (2686 m).

La pause déjeuner passée, on repart en longeant Hoberg. On va bientôt monter sur la crête pour se diriger vers l'Effighore.

After lunch, we kept following Hoberg. Soon, we'll climb it to get up to the ridge, heading to Effighore.

Un vrai plaisir de skier dans ce décor...

Au détour d'une crête, les objectif d'aujourd'hui et de demain apparaissent. En bas, le lac Iffigsee (2065 m) est recouvert de neige. La vallée monte vers la Wildhornhütte (2303 m). Au fond à droite, à peu près à la verticale de la cabane, l'attirant Wildhorn (3248 m).

And then today's and tomorrow's objectives appeared. Down there, that's Iffigsee (2065m), a lake covered with snow. The valley goes up to Wildhornhütte (2303 m). On the background, right hand side, is the attractive Wildhorn (3248 m), more or less vertivally above the hut.

J'avais randonné ici l'été passé, c'est amusant de voir la différence.

I did a hike there last summer, it's quite fun to see the difference.

Suis un peu à la ramasse, je garde les yeux collés sur les skis. La cabane approche.

I'm knackered and keep my head down, looking at my skis. The hut is getting closer.

Superbe journée. J'aurais aimé être en forme et en profiter plus. D’expérience je sais que le temps finira par en faire un très bon souvenir. Prochain arrêt : le Wildhorn.

Beautiful day. I wished I would have been in better shape and enjoy it more. I know time will make a great memory out of this. Next stop: Wildhorn.
