Klewenalp - Seelisberg

2010, c'était ma grande saison de vélo de route. En septembre de cette année, j'avais visité Klewenalp et Seelisberg, sur la rive sud du lac des Quatre-Cantons, en Suisse centrale. Une jolie journée.

I dedicated 2010 to road biking. In september of that year, I visited Klewenalp and Seelisberg, on the southern shores of Lake Lucerne, in central Switzerland. A pretty cool day.

Route

De mémoire, depuis Beckenried, montée très raide vers Klenewalp, puis de nouveau depuis Beckenried, promenade vers Seelisberg. Pas beaucoup de kilomètres mais bien 1500 mètres de dénivelé.

From I can recall, steep climb between Beckenried and Klewenalp, then again from Beckeriend, easy stroll to Seeliseberg. Not many kilometers but at least 1500 meters ascent.

Montée très raide mais sur une route très paisible, avec une vue imprenable sur ce superbe lac. En face, c'est le Rigi.

Very steep but peaceful road, with great views over the lake. Ahead that's Rigi.

Vers l'est, le Gross Mythen et la jolie ville de Schwyz à son pied.

L'arrivée à la station supérieure du téléphérique, Klewenalp.  La péninsule au milieu c'est le Bürgenstock.

Made it to the upper gondola station, Klewenalp. Nice view on the Bürgenstock, that peninsula below.




La route, entre alpage et forêts.

Au sud, l'alpage de Klewenalp. En face, nous avons Schwalmis (gauche) et le joli Brisen (2404 m), pyramidal.

To south, the Klewenalp pasture. Ahead we have Schwalmis (left) and the pretty pyramidal Brisen (2404 m).

Redescente sur Beckenried. Rigi Hochflue en face, Mythens au fond et Fronalpstock à droite.

I'm now back in Beckenried. Ahead is Rigi Hochflue, Mythens on the background and the Fronalpstock to the right hand side.

Je me dirige vers Seelisberg à présent. Voici le 'Seeli', superbe petit coin de nature. Au fond, on devine le Chaiserstock si je ne me trompe pas.

Cycling now towards Seelisberg, stopped at 'Seeli', beautiful little corner of nature. On the background, I think that's Chaiserstock.

A Seelisberg, vue sur la partie uranaise du lac des Quatre-Cantons, l'Urnersee. Au bout du lac c'est la ville d'Altdorf, patrie de Guillaume Tell.

In Seeliberg you can see the Uranese part of Lake Lucerne, the Urnersee. At the end of that lake lies Altdorf, home of William Tell.

Je zoom sur le Bristen (3073 m), il me fait envie depuis très longtemps celui là... A son pied, la vue est impressionnante, très gros dénivelé.

Zooming on Bristen (3073 m). I'm attracted by that one for a very long time... When you stand below, the view is pretty impressive.

Vers l'est, la Fronalpstock (1921 m).

Très belle ballade le long du plus beau lac de Suisse en ce qui me concerne. Le but c'est de monter tout les sommets autour :-).

Great ride along the nicest Swiss lake imo. My goal is to climb every peak around :-).
