Hoech Gumme

A l'automne 2011, on a fait une petite randonnée en famille près de Lungern, sur la belle crête au dessus du lac de Brienz. Très facile et superbe vue. Souvenirs.

During Fall 2011, the family did a stroll near Lungern, on the nice ridge above Lake Brienz. Very easy and gorgeous views. Let's go back in time.

Route

A Lungern se trouve un téléphérique qui monte à Schönbül (2011 m). Après un stop au restaurant, on est montés au Höch Gumme (2205 m). Retour identique à la montée.

In Lungern there's a gondola which took us up to Schönbül (2011 m). After a lunch at the restauurant, we went up to Höch Gumme (2205 m). Downhill on the same way.

C'était une bien belle journée d'automne comme les Alpes nous en réservent régulièrement. Une inversion thermique classique et voila une jolie mer de nuage. Le Brünigpass (1000 m) au dessous sépare la Suisse centrale de l'Oberland bernois.

It was a beautiful autumn day in the Alps with a classic inversion leading to a nice sea of clouds. The Brünigpass (1000 m) below us lies between the Bernese Oberland and central Switzerland.

Randonnée facile pour Lola, 5 ans à l'époque. Les jumeaux dans leur porte-bébés.

Easy hike for Lola, 5 years back then. We carried the twins.

Vers le nord-ouest, la belle région de Entlebuch. On voit Sörenberg en bas et au fond la superbe crête de la Schrattenflue.

Looking north-west, the lovely area of Entlebuch. Down there is Sörenberg, the nice ridge of the Schrattenflue on the background.

Panorama vers le sud. Le lac de Brienz à droite, suivi d'Interlaken et du Lac de Thoune. En face les stars de l'Oberland (Eiger, Jungfrau, Schreckhorn etc). Plus à gauche, la région de Meiringen (Haslital) et la début de la montée au Grimselpass. Enfin tout à gauche, la région d'Engelberg et son Titlis .

Panorama looking south. Lake Brienz on the right side, followed by Interlaken and lake Thun. Ahead, the stars of the Oberland (Eiger, Jungfrau, Schreckhorn etc). More to the left, the Meiringen area (Haslital) and the beginning of the way up to Grimselpass. Finally, to the left side, the Engelberg area and its Titlis.

Derrière, au nord, un joli décor également. Sous les nuages à droite, le lac des Quatre-cantons, bordé par le Stanserhorn, le Rigi et le Pilatus. Au centre, l'Emmental et encore la Schrattenflue. Tout à gauche, le Brienzer Rothorn et la crête qui finit à Interlaken.

Behind, to the north, another very nice panorama. Below the clouds, on the right hand side, is lake Luzern, surrounded by Stanserhorn, Rigi and Pilatus. In the center, the Emmental area and once again the Schrattenflue. To the very left side, the Brienzer Rothorn and the ridge that eventually goes down to Interlaken.

Et nous revoilà à Lungern. Je monte rapidement en direction du Brünigpass pour faire la photo classique du lac de Lungern. Magnifique lumière d'automne. Au fond à gauche, le Pilatus.

And we're back in Lungern. I quickly drove towards Brünigpass to make the classic picture over lake Lungern. Beautiful autumn light. On the background, the Pilatus.

Très jolie promenade, ça respire la Suisse et l'automne. Amusant de se replonger dans ces photos. L'automne 2013 arrive, cool !


Very nice stroll, nice scent of Switzerland and autumn. Quite fun to see these old pics again. Fall 2013 is just ahead, cool !
