L'Albristhorn (ou Albristhore dans le patois local) est une jolie montagne, relativement isolée, de l'Oberland bernois, entre Adelboden et Lenk. Elle culmine à 2672 mètres et le chemin qui y monte, bien qu'évident, n'est pas balisé et est parfois escarpé. La vue est splendide.
Albristhorn (or Albristhore in the local dialect) is one looking good mountain, fairly isolated in the Bernese Oberland, between Adelboden and Lenk. It's 2672 meters high. The trail that goes up there though obvious is not marked and is sometimes a bit steep. Views are gorgeous. __________________________________
Garé dans Adelboden-Dorf, près du téléphérique qui monte à Tschentenalp, que j'ai pris pour sauver 600 mètres. J'ai suivi le Gsürweg (balisé bleu) puis hors piste vers l'Albrishtorn, que j'ai traversé vers Tierberg. Descente à Sillerebühl. De là trottinette vers Adelboden :-).
Parked in Adelboden-Dorf, not far Tschentenalp cable car, which I took to save 600 meters. I followed Gsürweg (blue markers) then off piste up to Albrishtorn. I traversed it towards Tierberg. Downhill to Sillerebühl where I got a scooter and went back down to Adelboden :-).
A la sortie du téléphérique, à Tschentenalp (1940 m). En face c'est le Gsür (2708 m). Le plan c'est de le grimper et de prendre sa crête sud vers l'Albristhorn. En m'approchant, je me suis dégonflé. Trop d'inconnues, des passages cachés à ma vue, partie sommitale raide et quelques gendarmes. Seul et sans corde, bof :-).
Out at the upper station, Tschentenalp 1940 m. Ahead is Gsür (2708 m). Plan is to climb it and continue south on the ridge towards Albristhorn. Getting closer I got cold feet. Too many unknowns, some hidden parts, looked steep at the top and a few gendarmes. Alone, without a rope, meh :-)

Me voila sur ce chemin 'Gsürweg', qui coupe à travers ces sculptures d'érosion. Drôle d'ambiance. C'est balisé en bleu (randonnée alpine exigeante), exagérément à mon avis. J'ai vu des randos rouges plus dures que ça... Rien à voir avec l'Aargrat, une autre bleue.
Here I am on that 'Gsürweg' path, cutting through these erosion sculptures. Funny place. Markers are blue (demanding alpine hike), a bit excessive in my opinion. I've seen tougher red ones... World's apart from Aargrat, another blue one.
Aussi ce panneau m'a bien fait rire :-).
So I laughed when I saw that signpost :-).
Furggialp. La vue devient jolie au sud. Le Wildstrubel (ce sommet plat à gauche au fond) en vedette.

Arrivé au col. Belle vue ! A gauche, le Gsür. Au fond, la trilogie Eiger / Mönch / Jungfrau et les Blümlisalp. Au centre le Grosse Loner (avec la petite Bunderspitz à gauche).

De l'autre coté, vers l'ouest. Au premier plan, nous séparant de la Diemtigtal, le Rauflihore, petite colline dont Dante me rabats les oreilles depuis des années ;-). Le Stockhorn tout au fond à droite. Gantrisch et Kaiseregg se cachent dans cette forêt de pics, entre Alpes de Berne et de Fribourg. Et dans l'arrière plan, au delà de la mer des nuages bloquée sur le plateau, l'ombre du Chasseral, phare du Jura.
On the other side, looking west. On the foreground, ending the Diemtigtal valley, is the Rauflihore, small hill that Dante keeps rambling about for years ;-). Stockhorn on the background, right hand side. Gantrisch and Kaiseregg are playing hide and seek in this forest of peaks, between Bernese Oberland and Fribourg prealps. And on the very background, beyond the sea of clouds stuck above the Plateau, a shadow of mount Chasseral, lighthouse of the Jura.

Je continue la montée vers l'Albristhorn. Je suis un peu déçu par la facilité de ce sommet, je le pensais plus technique. Aussi quand l'occasion se présente de sortir du sentier et de grimper un peu, j'y vais. Ça passe dans le II, c'est déjà ça :-).
On my way up to Albristhorn. I'm a little bit disappointed by how easy the climb is. So when I got a chance to leave the trail and climb a bit, I took it. Easy II is still fun :-).
Et m'y voila. Une croix de plus. Facile mais vue assez exceptionnelle je dois dire.

Au sud, c 'est pas mal non plus. Les alpes Valaisannes se pointent, à l'arrière plan. Entre nous, de gauche à droite, le beau Wildstrubel, le glacier de Plaine Morte, le Wildhorn et les Diablerets. Effet wow.
Looking south isn't too bad either. Valaisan alps show up on the background. In between, from left to right, the beautiful Wildstrubel, Plaine Morte glacier, Wildhorn and Diablerets. Wow effect.
Quelques zooms ? Au nord-est, Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch et Jungfrau. Au premier plan, Elsigenalp, fait avec Dante en raquettes par un épais brouillard ;-). Juste derrière, l'Ärmighore. Encore derrière, le Schilthorn. Il va me falloir des nouvelles montagnes bientôt...
Zooms ? To north-east, Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On the foreground, Elsigenalp, done with Dante on snowshoes under a thick fog ;-). Right behind that's Ärmighore. Further behind you get to Schilthorn. I'm gonna need new mountains soon...
Au sud-est, quelques beaux bijoux aussi. De gauche à droite. Le Biestchhorn, star de la Lötschental. Puis Balmhorn & Altes, difficile de les distinguer sous cet angle. Et enfin le Rinderhorn. J'ai rendez-vous avec ces quatre là.

Bon, c'est pas tout ça mais j'ai une crête nord qui m'attends. Je descend. Rien de bien méchant d'ailleurs et très agréable. On retrouve du balisage rouge à un moment donné.
Ok, enough. I have a northern ridge waiting for me. I'm coming down. It's easy and feels great. Found red markers at some point.
Lenk apparait. Le très beau Lenkersee parait minuscule vu d'ici. Iffigenalp et le Wildhorn en face. J'adore ce coin, sauvage et alpin.

A Tierberg. On devine bien le chemin depuis le début, avec Tschentenalp juste en face.

J'apprécie la vue sur Altes et Rindenhorn. Entre nous, le Tschingellochtighore, trônant sur l'arête Entschligegrat. L'alpage d'Engtsligenalp au dessous à droite.
Really liked that view over Altes and Rindenhorn. In between is Tschingellochtighore sitting on the Entschligegrat ridge. Engtsligenalp, an alpine pasture, is below, on the right side.
J'arrive à Sillerebühl, fin du périple. Pano sur la rando (tracé en rouge). Le temps de me louer une trottinette et je suis parti pour Adelboden. Super la descente, à filer sur les pistes de skis du domaine :-).
Made it to Sillerebühl, end of the journey. Panorama on the whole hike (trail in red). Rented a scooter and headed down to Adelboden. Very cool downhill, speeding on the Adelboden ski slopes :-)
Belle journée ! Un beau sommet peu fréquenté. Vue incroyable à 360° sur beaucoup de beaux souvenirs. La bonne nouvelle c'est que j'ai encore énormément d'idées :-).Great day ! A gorgeous summit, not so crowded. Incredible 360° view on many great memories. Good news is I still got a lot of ideas :-).
